Overview
IT2School is a community of IT volunteers dedicated to inspire kids through technology. Its mission is to teach children aged 7 to 14 about different technologies, helping them turn their ideas into reality and gain skills that will support their future careers.
My responsibilities
I was helping with the creation of the landing page and refreshing the branding across social media. The goal was to redesign the outdated website and develop a new visual identity — one that felt playful and engaging for kids, while still being insightful and reassuring for parents.
Landing Page
The landing page consists of information about the educational courses. Such as HTML/CSS, Python, and Design. Also, it describes the process of joining the community and shows some images from the community live.
Branding
The logo already existed and there was no request to change it. However, I slightly adjusted the color palette, making it lighter. This gave the visuals a softer, more child-friendly, and welcoming vibe.

Illustrations
I designed a set of illustrations for the website to emphasize a soft, friendly tone. It was also important to reflect the themes of education and IT, making the visuals both welcoming and relevant to the project’s focus.

Instagram Posts
In addition to updating the website, we refreshed the community’s Instagram profile to align with the new branding. Together with a copywriter, I planned and created a series of posts about the community. They covered key topics such as what the community is about, how to join lessons, what’s required, and which courses are available.

Certificates
And last but not least, I updated the design of the certificates that kids receive at the end of each course. The previous version was dark, minimalistic, and geometric. The new design was aligned with the community’s refreshed visual identity — brighter, softer, and more in tune with the warm atmosphere we wanted to achieve.

Why it’s matter?
It’s very important to support local communities with a mission to educate children — especially when they are non-profit. In today’s world, where most information comes through social media and people are drawn to strong visuals, it’s crucial to stand out. Development and design require resources, but they are not as challenging as building the future of modern education for kids. 🌟
